Because I got hacked

This week someone hacked into my old email account and spammed my contact list.  When I logged in to change my password, I checked the recent login history to see that someone in Virginia had logged in yesterday.  Crazy no?

Anyways, I’ve changed my password.  Today, I came across this article about password safety and the best types of passwords in relation to how long it would take for them to get hacked.  Read it here.  It was really interesting to me, and I’ll be rethinking a lot of my passwords.
